City of Moultrie
The Sunbelt Agriculture Exposition, the largest farm show in the U.S., is held annually in Moultrie. Each year the city hosts the Festival on the Square, the Calico Arts and Crafts Shows and the Scottish Festival Weekend.
According to 2000 Census, the City of Moultrie had a population of 14,387 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population decrease of -3.2%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
